Limited Travel Time – We find many students in a concentrated area so that you will spend an entire day in one area rather than traveling from suburb to suburb. Tutoring Support – Our Education Director, Christy Sturtz, is a certified educator and a Reading Specialist. She is on staff to provide tutors needed support in teaching their students. Our goal is to find tutors with outstanding talent and enable them to do their very best work on behalf of the students entrusted to us.

Lending Library – We appreciate our tutors’ recommendations and are happy to add new materials to our library for your use.

Integrity – We pride ourselves on our honesty, trustworthiness, and solid business practices.

Supportive Staff – TIYH directors are dedicated to serving the needs of our students and tutors. We strive to make the TIYH experience a successful one for all.

Diversity – TIYH services students from PreK – College, from Elementary students to adults, beginning English students and Calculus students, Spanish and Chemistry, and more. Our tutors are free to accept or pass working with a student on a case-by-case basis. Our aim is to make each tutor – family match comfortable and successful for each party.

One-On-One Instruction – Unless otherwise requested, our tutoring sessions are one-on-one lessons with a student so you can focus on tutoring your student and not on classroom management.
